Information in the register

The person register includes eg. the following information:

  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Telephone number (for package posting)
  • Details of processed orders
  • Mail Order Tracking Information for Orders (packages)

The customer information is provided on a regular basis:

  • From the customer themselves via the forms of the Internet pages, by e-mail or other similar means.
  • Using cookies or other similar technologies.

Division of information

The information contained in the customer registry is only for the use of Varalusikka, except when Varalusikka uses an external service provider to produce a value-added service. However, the information will not be disclosed to Outlander or for its own use by its partners, except in matters relating to credit applications, collection or billing, and the obligation to legislate.

Registered personal data will be disposed of at the request of the user, unless legislation or open invoices prevent the deletion of the data.

Transfer of information outside of the EU or the European Economic Area

Information is not released outside the EU or the European Economic Area, unless it is necessary to ensure the technical implementation of the Varalusikka or its partner.

Principles of protection of the register

The customer register is handled confidentially and in accordance with the current Personal Data Act. The registry is properly protected by external firewalls and other technical safeguards. The register is not stored as a paper printout.

The register is only used by persons whose job description is used (“Administrator”). Each administrator has a personal username and password. The administrators are bound by the confidentiality obligation.

Updating data

The customer can update their information in the register in the “My Details” section of the online store. Other information can be updated by contacting the web store administrator (see contact information).

Right to inspect, prohibit and correct

The registrar has the right to inspect the information stored in the register and to obtain copies of them.

The registrar has the right to prohibit the use of his or her data for direct mail, distance selling or other direct marketing as well as opinion and market research and the right to claim for correction of incorrect information.

Requests must be made in writing and addressed to the person responsible for the register (see contact details).

Privacy policy changes

Due to changes in the services and changes in legislation, we reserve the right to change the Privacy Policy. Significant changes to the privacy statement will be reported to registered customers when the terms are updated.
