DT Varalusikka: Jehkotar Altered Book 4 / 2019

A short summary of Jehkotar’s blogpost in English.

Taru created a new spread to her Varalusikka Altered Book. She glued papers from the Paper Garden subscription boxes first. Then she used washis, doilies, tickets etc., and tickets made with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous ticket stamps. The next stemp was to add vintage photois and Tim Holtz paper dolls.

After letting the pages dry properly, Taru used crayons/other colouring pens to give contrast to the pages. You can use pens like watercolour pens, crayons, oil pastels, Stabilo Alls, Faber-Castell Artist Brushses… With the chosen pens Taru coloured all the edges of papers, tickets, etc., and blended the darkest parts on the pages.
